ACLT-076 Reading Writing and College Success

Prerequisites: Placement into RDNG-030 (ACSR-030) with a score between 55-72 on the Accuplacer Reading Placement test or completion of RDNG-016 with an S grade Pre-requisite: ENGL-095 or ENGL-098 with a grade of S9
ACLT-076 is an accelerated framework for the critical reading thinking and writing skills needed in college-level courses. Topic-based readings emphasize college success strategies. Weekly workshop sessions apply reading and writing strategies to help students develop their ability to make connections between college level reading and writing material. Successful completion of this course will advance students to ENGL-101 and courses requiring college-level reading skill. Graded S/U.
