ENGL-104 Composition for Technical Fields IICredits 3 / 3 Contact Hours Pre-requisite: Placement into ACRD 080 ; Successful completion of ENGL-101 or ENGL-103 with a grade of 2.0 or higher. This course provides students with the equivalent of traditional second semester composition experience but with an emphasis on technical writing that is geared toward specialized fields such as healthcare, criminal justice, and various
technical fields. This course builds on ENGL-101 or ENGL-103 , focusing on enhancing critical thinking and writing skills through investigation and summarizing information, adapting language levels to user needs, evaluating evidence and logical reasoning, and assembling documents based on these processes.
