MUS.-206 Scoring for Media

Credits 3 / 3 Contact Hours
Prerequisite: Placement into RDNG-030  (ACSR-030) or completion of RDNG-016 , ACLT-075  or ACLT-076  is required. Pre-requisite: 2.0 minimum grade in the following: MUS.-101 or MUS.-191 ; MUS.-105 ; and MUS.-158  or MUS.-165 . Note: Optional: USB flash drive or external hard drive.
The study of creating original music for video designed for students who have a foundation in music fundamentals notation and keyboard skills. Students will utilize computer software and hardware to provide original musical scores to video projects produced by Media Arts students.
