This program prepares students for a career in video and audio content creation. It combines practical experience in pre-production, production, and post-production with theoretical insights into media aesthetics, history, theory, analysis, and scriptwriting. Graduates can pursue a variety of career paths, including working for web and streaming media sites, film studios, radio and podcasting outlets, television stations, advertising agencies, sporting and concert venues, corporations, small businesses, schools, churches, municipalities and nonprofits. Graduates can choose to transfer to a four-year college, start their own production company or move directly into freelance and full-time employment within the industry.

NOTE: Some programs require taking COMG-153; for these programs, the Test-Out option is not available. For those programs that do not require COMG-153, the competency test-out option is available and can be taken in the Academic Testing Center, located on the 3rd floor of the Mott Library.
