The Associate of Applied Science in Automotive Technology program provides a comprehensive study in automobile maintenance and repair. The program will emphasize skills needed to help the student function successfully in the field, including exposure to the skills needed for new technology as it evolves. The Program is nationally accredited by the ASE Education Foundation and covers all 8 areas of the automobile set forth by the accreditation body. Hands-on learning is a key component to the learning process within the program that will help students to become self-directed learners and develop life-long skills. Students must also pass all occupational courses with a 2.0 or higher.

Computer Competency Requirement


Beginning 2016, demonstration of computer competency is a degree requirement at Mott Community College

Computer competency can be demonstrated by one of two ways:

NOTE: Some programs require taking COMG-153; for these programs, the Test-Out option is not available. For those programs that do not require COMG-153, the competency test-out option is available and can be taken in the Academic Testing Center, located on the 3rd floor of the Mott Library.
