The Data Analytics program provides graduates with the skills to gather, organize, analyze, interpret, and display data. This program integrates information technology, business, and mathematics providing the student with the knowledge and experience to work with large data sets and make data driven decisions. Students complete this program with a capstone project integrating the skills gained demonstrating their abilities to potential employers.

Computer Competency Requirement


Beginning 2016, demonstration of computer competency is a degree requirement at Mott Community College

Computer competency can be demonstarted by one of two ways:

  • Passing COMG-153 Computers-A Practical Approach
  • Passing the competency test with a minimum of 70%

 

NOTE: Some programs require taking COMG-153; for these programs, the Test-Out option is not available. For those programs that do not require COMG-153, the competency test-out option is availabek and can be taken in the Academic Testing Center, located on the 3rd floor of the Mott Library.
