This certificate is intended to complement associate degrees in Music, Media Arts, and Graphic Design, giving students additional technical and creative skills to make them more competitive in those fields. The curriculum integrates diverse courses involving music creation, post-production and scoring for media, supplemented by music fundamentals, performance, and music business courses. Emphasis is placed on the technical, logistical, and creative skills required to be competitive in today’s music technology and sound engineering job market.
