SOCW-238 Introduction to Community Development

Pre-requisite: Placement into RDNG-016  (ACSR-016) (effective through Spring 2016)

Pre-requisite: Placement into RDNG 030  or successful completion of RDNG 016  , ACLT 075  or ACLT-076; SOCW 131  , minimum 2.0; ENGL 101  , minimum 2.0 (effective Summer 2016)

 

 
This course is designed to study community organization as a method of social development. The role of groups of concerned citizens seeking to make social changes will be explored. The focus will be on making changes to benefit large segments of the community.
