THTR-220 Acting IICredits 3 / 3 Contact Hours Pre-requisite: Placement into ACRD 080 ; THTR-120 with a minimum grade of 2.0. Acting II builds upon the foundational skills learned in Acting I by focusing on advanced techniques for theatrical performance. You’ll delve deeper into text analysis, character development, and scene study, preparing you for production-ready roles. Through intensive exploration of ensemble acting, script analysis, and theatrical terminology, you’ll refine your acting instrument, including your voice, body, and imagination. This course will foster a deeper understanding of yourself and your fellow actors, equipping you with the tools to create compelling performances, have a dialogue with a director, and to sharpen your technique for success onstage and in the rehearsal room.
