COMI-261 Database Concepts

Credits 4 / 4 Contact Hours
Pre-requisite: Placement into ACRD 080 ; COMS-170  or COMO 130 . 
This course teaches the concepts of data base design maintenance and use. A current data base processor is used for student projects.

Course Outcomes
  1. Student will demonstrate understanding of database terminology and concepts through written testing.
  2. Student will demonstrate understanding and use of database concepts by completion of assigned database exercises using a microcomputer.
  3. Student will create, use, and modify a database by using appropriate database software.
