SOCY-294 Race and Ethnic RelationsCredits 3 / 3 Contact Hours Pre-requisite: Placement into College Level Reading, completion of ELAP-120 with a 2.0 or higher, or successful completion of ACRD-090, ACRD-091 or ACRD-092; SOCY-191 A study of racial and ethnic minorities and their subcultures and specific problems. Concentration on the United States as a cultural unit. Emphasis on the different effects of socializations as related to personality development within minorities.
