PHYS-281 General College Physics ICredits 4 / 4 Contact Hours
Pre-requisite: Placement into ACRD-090, ACRD-091 or ACRD-092, completion of ELAP-110 with a minimum grade of 2.0, or successful completion of ACRD-080; A 2.0 or better in MATH-140 or MATH-145 or completion of MATH-170 or higher. Co-requisite: PHYS-281L
This course covers the topics of basic physical properties of mechanics sound and heat.
Course Outcomes
To introduce the student to the concepts of physics to give the student an understanding of science in general and the physical world specifically.
