BIOL-110 Evolution and Humans

Credits 3 / 3 Contact Hours
Pre-requisite: Placement into RDNG-030  (ACSR-030) or completion of RDNG-016 , ACLT-075  or ACLT-076  
This course is designed for non-science majors. It consists of two components. In the first half of the semester general concepts in evolutionary biology will be covered; the second half focuses on human evolution in particular. The student will gain an understanding of the origin of the diversity of life on the planet and humans historical and biological place within it.
