ELEC-236 Industrial Automation and ControlCredits 6 / 8 Contact HoursPrerequisites: Placement into RDNG-016 (ACSR-016); ELEC-135 and ELEC-139 Automation and control systems are driving increased productivity and efficiency across all industries. The need for technicians with the ability to design, troubleshoot, integrate and maintain electro-mechanical systems has never been greater. In this class, sensing and control technology, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), will be utilized to troubleshoot and upgrade existing systems as well as design new process control and automation solutions. System requirements and machine safety standards will be utilized. |
